Marketing
Product Manager
Do you see yourself at one of the hottest new companies in Silicon Valley? Do you want to own the Voltage Security product that will ensure that personal identifiable information (PII) such as social security numbers and credit cards are kept safe in the databases of the world’s leading companies? Voltage has invented and patented a way to encrypt PII inside DB2, Oracle, MySQL, and SQL Server databases so that it can only be accessed “in the clear” by privileged applications. Uniquely, our Format-Preserving Encryption (FPE) allows unprivileged applications to use the database to do data mining, to develop next-generation corporate applications, for customer service, and to perform quality assurance testing— without exposing the PII. Sounds important, unique, and ground-breaking, doesn’t it?
As the Product Manager for the Voltage SecureData product, you will work along-side the product managers for the other three Voltage Security products.
Responsibilities include:
- Be the company expert on the database security market, target customer needs, and the competitor’s products and business strategies

- Set the pricing strategy, pricing models, and author the price list for your product
- Ensure that your product meets and exceeds key metrics including revenue, profit, development cost, schedule, and functionality
- Serve as the internal and external evangelist for your product, communicating with sales, support, SEs, channel partners, technology partners, press, analysts, and key customers
