About the Partnership

Voltage and Code Green Networks have entered into a technology-alliance agreement to deliver an integrated content protection and encryption appliance to the SMB market. The new product integrates Code Green Networks Content Inspection Appliance with message encryption from the Voltage Security Network (VSN) to provide a simple, one-box, one-policy “protect and secure” solution that is extremely easy to install, use and administer. The Code Green Networks Content Inspection Appliance 1500 (CI-1500) inspects all content flowing out of an organization’s Internet gateway across the most widely-used TCP protocols including SMTP, FTP, HTTP and Web mail. When it detects an unauthorized SMTP transmission, it invokes the policy to log, alert, block, or quarantine the message. If it detects an authorized SMTP transmission of sensitive content, it automatically encrypts the message though the Voltage Security Network for secure transmission. All transmissions are logged in an audit trail for compliance purposes.
