Voltage Security to Provide Fully-Integrated, Easy-to-Use Add-On to BlackBerry Enterprise Server for Email Security

Voltage SecureMail Internet Security Complements BlackBerry Wireless Security

Wireless Enterprise Symposium – Chicago, IL – May 18, 2004 – Voltage Security Inc., a leading provider of secure business communication solutions, today announced a fully-integrated security add-on  for BlackBerryEnterprise Server™ from Research In Motion (RIM) (Nasdaq: RIMM; TSX: RIM).  The Voltage SecureMail for BlackBerry solution will provide easy-to-use, certificate-free, content security for Internet-based email transmission that is interoperable with RIM’s BlackBerry® wireless security.  This means that mobile professionals will have a secure and transparent way to protect the privacy of their communications at all times with customers, vendors and partners while ensuring compliance with federal privacy regulations.

The Voltage solution complements the BlackBerry security architecture and ensures that messages sent through and stored on a corporate mail server remain encrypted at all times. The Voltage solution add-on, fully integrated with BlackBerry Enterprise Server™, will enable easy administration of privacy policies for mobile professionals across the enterprise without the installation, administration and management of a separate server dedicated to encryption management. This ensures a smoother deployment and lower total-cost-of-ownership while delivering critical business communication security for mobile users and their customers.

“Voltage SecureMail for BlackBerry will offer unique integration with BlackBerry Enterprise Server” said Sathvik Krishnamurthy, president and CEO of Voltage Security, Inc. “Voltage is an easy-to-use, accessible and cost-efficient communication security solution for any enterprise and by adding support for BlackBerry, we will enable enterprise customers to reach their mobile workforce, partners and customers wherever they happen to be.”

With Voltage SecureMail and BlackBerry, users will have an advanced encryption solution that is cost-effective and easy to manage,” said David Yach, Executive Vice President of Software at Research In Motion.
