"This is just an incredible honor for Voltage. We were delighted to be one of the AlwaysOn 100 announced last week, and now to be selected as the number one new innovator company of 2004 is fantastic. This is a tribute to the entire Voltage team, and particularly to the work of the co-founders who made our breakthrough technology, Identity-Based Encryption (IBE), a reality," said Sathvik Krishnamurthy, president and CEO of Voltage.
"Voltage has created a revolutionary breakthrough in cryptography that advances the art beyond Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), said Tony Perkins, AlwaysOn founder. "Its Identity-Based Encryption (IBE) is a completely new approach to the problem of encryption, enabling data to be protected without the need for certificates and other costly infrastructure."
