Over two years after I mentioned it here, people have started to understand that the estimates that hacking causes over $1 trillion in economic losses annually aren't just wrong – they're obviously wrong. But it's good to see that people are now seeing that. Apparently, General Keith Alexander, the Director of the NSA quoted that wildly-inaccurate estimate last month in a speech at the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington, D.C., which led to various experts saying that his numbers were off. I'm just surprised that it took this long for people to realize that.
