Moore’s law for security threats

According to the report "Federal Information Security Market, 2010 to 2015" by industry analyst firm INPUT, US government agencies have seen the threats against their IT systems grow by 445 percent since 2006. That works out to a CAGR of about 45 percent, or doubling in a bit more than 22 months. That's even faster than the form of Moore's law that says that the number of transistors on an integrated circuit doubles in about two years.
